I would liken the Israeli state to the Sanhedrin. I do not throw my support unwaveringly behind them. I will support that which is intelligent and good. There are bad Israelis in control.

We cannot afford to guarantee Israel's oil supply, nor the oil supply of any nation. Nor will we defend them unilaterally against 'any enemy', including Iran, Pakistan, and the Muslim world. We will change that area of the world into civility using not our bombs and guns, which will only scar us all. We will use our culture and intelligence and love.
